Shipping policy

1. Who we ship to

We currently ship to Nationwide only. International expansion will follow after our launch phase (first 2,000 pcs).

2. Processing & launch / pre-order rules

  • In-stock orders: processed within 1 business day.

  • Launch pre-orders / made-to-order (first 2,000 pcs / Size Demand Tracker items): processing up to 3 business days; customers on the pre-sell landing page receive priority dispatch updates.

  • Orders placed on weekends/holidays start processing the next business day.

3. Delivery windows

  • Dhaka City (standard): 1–2 business days.

  • Chittagong City (standard): 2–3 business days.

  • Same-day Dhaka: Available for orders placed before 2:00 PM (subject to stock & address). Same-day fee applies.

4. Shipping rates (recommended for premium positioning)

  • National flat rate: BDT 100 per order.
  • Free shipping for orders over BDT 1,000.
    (These numbers are margins-friendly — tweak if needed.)

5. Premium handling & packaging

  • All orders ship in premium protective packaging with size tags and care cards. Fragile/extra packaging for gift orders may have a small extra fee.

  • Orders above BDT 5,000 automatically receive complimentary gift wrap (brand choice).

6. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • COD available for Dhaka & Chittagong up to BDT 25,000.

  • COD handling fee: BDT 40 per order.

7. Tracking & notifications

  • You’ll receive SMS + email at dispatch with a tracking link and ETA. Tracking updates are pushed until delivery.

8. Delivery attempts & failed deliveries

  • Courier will attempt delivery once (first attempt). If undelivered due to incorrect address/no one available, parcel returns to our warehouse.

  • Reshipment fees apply for returns caused by customer error (wrong address, refusal, repeated unavailability).

9. Signature & age-sensitive delivery

  • For high-value orders (above BDT 8,000) we require a signature on delivery for fraud protection.

  • If customer requests, we can mark “leave at doorstep” but Shonababu is not liable for theft/damage after delivery confirmation.

10. Local pickup

  • Local pickup from our Dhaka warehouse by appointment. Select “Local Pickup” at checkout and bring your order confirmation.

11. Returns & exchanges (baby clothing specifics)

  • Exchanges accepted within 7 days of delivery for size or defect — item must be unused, with original tags and packaging.

  • If the return/exchange is our fault (defect/wrong item), we cover return shipping and reship at no cost.

  • Change of mind / wrong size by customer: customer pays return shipping (unless a promotional return policy states otherwise).

  • We recommend customers use the Size Demand Tracker / pre-sell sizing guidance before ordering to reduce exchanges.

12. Delays & force majeure

  • Delivery windows are estimates. [YourBrand] is not liable for courier strikes, severe weather, or events outside our control. We’ll notify customers of major delays.

13. International shipping

  • Not available during launch. Will be announced once ready.
